| In-Home Day Care Certificate | |||||
Turn your love for children into an exciting career with the In-Home Day Care Certificate Program. The demand for quality child care providers is expected to increase 12 percent by 2012. As more parents search for reliable quality child care, the need will continue to grow. According to North Carolina’s requirements for an in-home day care, the number of children allowed is three to five; the maximum number of children per one provider is eight, with no more than five preschool-age or younger. This program is designed for students to start and operate their own in-home child day care, organize educational activities, use computers to help children learn and play, and set up and maintain a safe, clean, well-organized environment! This program is not for students who are interested in working, owning, or operating a day care center outside of their home.
