Beginning Golf – $113

golf photoThis course is for beginning golfers or golfers wanting a refresher. Instruction is given by a PGA/LGPA professional in etiquette, fitness, rules, irons, woods, chipping, and putting. Practice balls included. Students must bring their own clubs. (Because this class is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 10 hours.

BeginningYoga I – $69

Targeting beginners, this course focuses on a different topic each week, including alignment of the body in postures, positive thinking, breathing exercises, philosophy, basic anatomy, deep relaxation, and asana (practice of postures). The course emphasizes the principles of yoga as well as stress management, breathing techniques, and postures. Students need a yoga mat, pillow, and comfortable clothes. (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 16 hours.

Fitness Aerobics with Music for Beginners – $74

We all know that dancing and music go together, so if you love music and need to shed a few pounds, then an aerobic workout plan with music may be just what you need to get fit. The benefit of adding music to your routine includes motivation and increased focus. This well-designed music routine course for beginners will stimulate the heart, increase blood flow, and regulate and strengthen your breathing. This class provides a total upper and lower body workout. So get in shape while listening to your favorite music tunes. (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 16 hours.

Intermediate Golf – $113

For relatively new golfers or golfers wanting to move their games to the next level. An LPGA/PGA professional provides instruction in short game improvement, specialty and trouble shots, course management, fitness, and individual needs. Students must bring their own clubs. Classes are held at Hillandale Golf Course. (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 10 hours.

Introduction to Massage – $124

Massage therapy is a healing art and science. It’s also an exciting career path for anyone who wants to work helping people relieve stress and pain. If you are interested in becoming a massage therapist, this introductory course is for you. You will gain knowledge through class work and practical hands-on training. Class topics include anatomy, physiology, communication, technique, pain relief, stress management, and more. 30 hours. Note: Some anatomy/physiology is recommended prior to taking this course. 30 hours.

Introduction to Massage for Couples – $69

A couple can be a husband and wife, two friends, a girlfriend and boyfriend, or even a mother and daughter! Getting a massage with someone you know is a wonderful experience. Men usually discover that therapeutic touch is very relaxing and restorative. Once they experience a couples massage, they are more willing to book a massage on their own. Enroll today and gain the knowledge to relieve stress through course work and practical, hands-on training. 24 hours.

NEW! Learn to Dive! – $395

If you want to learn to scuba dive, take a Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) Open Water Diving course! This is the most recognized and respected diving certification in the world. With a few days of training, you can dive the wrecks and reefs of Miami and the Florida Keys. PADI certification courses are recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education. This course includes all materials, three pool lessons, use of scuba equipment and tanks, open water dives, accident insurance, and PADI certification card. This course is not recommended for non-swimmers. (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 35 hours.

Salsa Fitness – $74

Treat yourself to exercise that is both healthy and fun while learning the hottest moves happening in the world of hip hop and Latin dancing. Practice some new moves in this beginner salsa and merengue dancing class. No prior experience required. Please sign up with your dancing partner. Arriba!
