NEW! Certificate Program in Music
Earn a certificate in music by successfully completing five or more classes. This flexible program allows you to decide what instrument to study for two semesters. In addition, all students must complete Musicianship I and the Music Industry Seminar. The fifth course focuses on MIDI Systems and Applications, In the Groove – Digital Music Production, or another approved elective.

NEW! Instrumental Classes for Beginners
Learn to play an instrument in a group setting. These introduction classes are designed for beginners and include fundamentals of reading music and chord notation. Basic theory is applied with some emphasis on ear training. Instrumental classes have no prerequisites and are limited to a four-student maximum. Guitar, bass, violin, and saxophone students must have access to an instrument for practicing and must bring their instrument to class. Piano and drums are provided for the classroom session. (Because these courses are self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 15 hours.
