The deadline for Fall Semester 2008 scholarships has passed. Please check back a few weeks following the beginning of the Spring semester for information about scholarships. The full information packet and application will be listed on this web page.
Applicants must be in-state residents (have
lived in North Carolina for the past 12 months) who have been formally
accepted into a program of study and have completed all
required developmental courses (The “D,” which indicates developmental status, must be removed from the applicant’s program code.). All scholarships
listed are contingent upon availability of funds at the time the Scholarship
Committee meets. Unless otherwise specified in the scholarship guidelines,
recipients will be selected by the Durham Technical Community College

For scholarships awarded over more than one semester, scholarship recipients must continue to meet all stated selection criteria each semester in order to receive subsequent disbursements. Any scholarship recipient who finds it necessary to withdraw from his/her classes must meet with the Scholarship Coordinator (Send email to brokawd@durhamtech.edu) in order to determine his/her eligibility for any subsequent disbursements.
Students must complete the process for Pell Grant in order to establish
financial need.
