Walk-in Academic Advising Information

Walk-in advising is available for the following student groups:

  • Returning visiting students;
  • New visiting and program students who have already attended a ConnectSession;
  • New visiting and program students who have completed 12 or more transferrable credits of college-level course work who choose not to attend a ConnectSession. All new students are strongly encouraged to participate in a ConnectSession.

During the summer term, many faculty advisors are not on campus. If you are a continuing student who is unable to meet with your assigned advisor, you may receive advising services during walk-in hours.

Advisors will be available on a first-come, first-served walk-in basis in the Admissions and Enrollment Services Center, located in the Phail Wynn, Jr. Student Services building on Main Campus, room 1200, second floor, and at the Orange County Campus on the dates and times listed below.

Depending on advisor availability and walk-in traffic, some wait time may be required. Advisors will continue to take walk-in students until the capacity for the day has been reached. Online Advising is also available to those who meet the requirements.
