The Center for Academic Excellence (CAE) is an embodiment of Durham Technical Community College's promise to the community to provide easy access to a variety of educational opportunities. Instructional practices in the CAE are based on the concept that there is more than "one perfect method" of instruction that is acceptable to and preferred by every learner. Thus, a number of delivery methods and instructional strategies are used including one-on-one instruction, small group instruction, audio/video instruction, and computer-assisted instruction.
