| English Language Requirements | ||
| International students who apply to Durham Tech curriculum programs are required to take the COMPASS placement test. This is a test of written English, reading, and mathematics skills, used for placement purposes. For international students applying to a Health Technologies program, COMPASS/ESL and Versant tests or the TOEFL ibt test are also required to meet the English language requirement. Based on test results, you may be required to take classes that will bring your reading and writing in English to a college level. International students in any program are urged to take the COMPASS ESL Listening Test. | ||
