*Final grades for each course are due within 48 hours after administration of the final graded assignment.

**Refer to the Employee Handbook for the specific college holiday.

***Staff Leave Reporting

  • 12-month faculty and staff may request taking leave these days. Leave request and report forms must be submitted and approved by the supervisor to take leave on any day or part of a day other than holidays.
  • 11.5-month faculty and staff have 5 personal “unpaid leave” days during the 2013-2014 Academic Year in addition to the 5 days the college is closed during Winter Break. Like 12-month faculty and staff, 11.5-month employees may request taking leave these days. Leave request and report forms must be submitted and approved by the supervisor to take personal “unpaid leave” on any day or part of a day other than holidays and when the college is closed during Winter Break.

****9-Month Faculty Leave Reporting

  • Faculty work days are noted on this calendar. Leave request and report forms must be submitted and approved by the supervisor to take leave on any day or part of a day other than holidays or the scheduled faculty off-contract days during the Winter Break. [Please note that in “Expectations of Faculty Members,” found in Section III-2: Employment and Contracts of the Employee Handbook, the following is noted: For accounting purposes, absence from campus for a day should result in submission of an employee absence report for eight hours (regardless of the number of hours the faculty member posts for the day in question). This has been in effect and included in the Employee Handbook since January 2005.]
  • 9-month faculty members do not report for work and do not submit leave request and report forms for days they are off contract. These days in the 2013-2014 Academic Calendar are as follows:
    • Monday, Thursday, Friday, December 23, 26, and 27; and
    • Monday and Tuesday, December 30 and 31.
