Welcome to Durham Tech!
You are now part of a higher education institution making a positive
difference in the lives of Triangle residents and in the economy of
the region since opening our doors in 1961. Together, we serve over
26,000 citizens a year through credit and noncredit offerings at locations
in Durham and Orange counties.
This Employee Handbook provides a wealth of information about the history
of our college, our mission and goals (which guide our efforts) as well
as the policies and procedures that we follow in doing our work at the
college. Please review this Employee Handbook and refer to it as needed
during what, I hope, will be a rewarding career at Durham Tech of service
to students and to the community.
