Awards will be made twice a year and will be based on the effectiveness of the innovative approach or solution.

All full-time and part-time employees of Durham Technical Community are eligible to submit an innovative approach or solution.

Innovative approaches or solutions may be submitted by individuals or teams.

• Constructive – is not a complaint or personal grievance.
• Solution-oriented – identifies a problem and provides a specific solution.
• Workable – is capable of being implemented at Durham Tech.
• Beneficial – provides measurable benefits to Durham Tech.
  

Each proposal must be submitted on an official Effective Innovation form and signed by all employees seeking recognition.

Send the original plus two copies of the Effective Innovation form to Wanda Maggart, Educational Resource Center, room 504. Remember to make a copy for your records.

to submit a neat, legible Effective Innovation form. Type when possible.

to include supporting documentation (i.e., photos, articles, locations, time frames, trends, analysis, justification, numbers, forms, examples, etc.).

Names will be removed from all Effective Innovation forms before consideration by the committee.
