The purpose of the Single Parent Program is to assist single parent-students to earn their degree, diploma, or certificate by offsetting some of their childcare expenses. Students choose their childcare providers and the providers are paid directly each month.
Applications are available in the Financial Aid office and are accepted all year but each semester has a deadline:
- Fall: The second friday in July
- Spring: The second friday in November
- Summer: The second friday in April
Complete applications turned in after the deadline will be considered the following semester. Eligible applications will be kept on file for all semesters for the academic year it was completed.
Complete applications will receive a response after current semester grades are posted. This is after classes have ended.
If you have questions, contact the program administrator, Karen Mosley-Lyon, in the Phail Wynn Jr., Student Activities Center, room 1210 (Financial Aid office).
