North Carolina, Inc.In 1998, Durham County was select from over 200 other sites in 13 states to be the home of the manufacturer AW North Carolina. The company manufactures and assembles transmission components for Toyota in West Virginia. Since its first gift to the DTCC Foundation in 1998, AW North Carolina has contributed over $127,000 in scholarships and program support. |

Banks, Inc.Since 1982, SunTrust Banks (Formerly CCB) has provided over $169,000 in scholarships and program support. SunTrust employees have served on the college's Board of Trustees and Foundation Board of Directors, providing a genuine commitment through gifts of both money and time. |
 PPDPPD is a leading drug research contractor with a major operation in the Research Triangle Park. PPD companies dependent on the skilled Clinical Trials Research Associates who graduate from the college each year. PPD began a generous annual donation to Durham Tech in 1999, with gifts now totaling over $30,000. |

Inc.Through a generous annual corporate donation from Eisai Inc., scholarships are available at public high schools in the college's service area. Eisai Inc. is a manufacturing and research/development company in the pharmaceutical industry that has contributed to the Foundation since 1997 with gifts totaling over $38,000. |
 Verizon Telecommunications leader Verizon has supported the college since 1987 with gifts totaling over $165,000. Most recently, Verizon provided funds supporting Spanish GED instruction. |
