Durham Tech Small Business Center Sponsors Legal Assistance for Entrepreneurs
(DURHAM, N.C.) – The Small Business Center of Durham Technical Community College hosts a free legal clinic for small business owners on Friday, April 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The clinic is administered by the North Carolina Lawyers for Entrepreneur Assistance Program (N.C. LEAP). The one-hour sessions continuing through the day will be held at the SBC offices located in the N.C. Mutual Building at 411 W. Chapel Hill St., 6th Floor, in Durham. All Durham and Orange County small business owners and start-up entrepreneurs are invited to attend but must make an appointment by calling Donna Matheson at 919-686-3448.

The free clinic provides small business owners with an opportunity to have a volunteer attorney conduct a legal audit for their business. The audit is designed to help business owners determine the legal health of their business. N.C. LEAP is a project of the North Carolina Bar Association Foundation.
