The Incumbent Workforce Development Program provides funding
to established North Carolina businesses to provide educational
and occupational skills training for current workers, and is
designed to benefit businesses by enhancing the skills of employees.

Duke Energy Community and Technical College Grants
are designed to enable colleges to extend their expertise, provide
rewarding opportunities for students, and ultimately, to help
revitalize manufacturing in the Carolinas. Duke Power will fund
grants to community colleges within its service area that do
significant training for major industries served by Duke Power.
The focus of the grant program is on training, retraining, and
other efforts to revitalize manufacturing and related businesses.
