| In the AHSD program, students who are at least 18 years old may complete unit requirements for a high school diploma. Classes are available at no charge, but students are required to buy their own books. Classes are held only on Durham Tech’s Main Campus during days and evenings. For information about AHSD classes and a complete schedule, please call 919-686-3626. All AHSD students are required to complete 20 units, including 6 electives, and pass the required North Carolina competency tests. Units satisfactorily completed in high school prior to enrolling at Durham Tech may count toward the required 20 units. For further information about the requirements, call 919-686-3626. Class attendance during the first week of the session is required to confirm the student’s enrollment. Students not attending during the first week of the session are withdrawn from the course.
Registration Schedule Spring Classes Begin: Students must register on the registration dates shown, prior to the first day of class. It is necessary to attend your first class session.
Students who do not attend their first class session risk being replaced
by those on the waiting list. All students enrolling in these courses conducted on Durham Tech’s
main campus must obtain an official Durham Tech student identification
card and parking permit. This card allows students to participate in
certain college events, receive discounts for some services, and gain
access to other benefits. |
