On-Board Diagnostics
(OBD) II Automotive Emissions – $71 |
This mandatory course is for employees performing N.C. Safety and Emissions inspections. The course focuses on the computer and software that monitor the emissions control devices installed in vehicles dating from 1996 to the present. Individuals who have not been certified by the N.C. Department of Motor Vehicles to perform Safety and Emissions inspections must take the class. Students receive a copy of the manual used n this course. (Because this course is self-supporting, no tuition waivers or exemptions are allowed.) 8 hours.

(OBD) II Automotive Emissions Recertification – $71 |
This OBD II class is for those employees who have been certified in Emissions and Safety Inspections.

Driver Certification – $69 |
Training is provided for escort drivers of oversize/overweight vehicles in N.C. The class focuses on the functions and duties of the escort driver, highway operations, and breakdown operations.
