This course covers basic and comprehensive cosmetology concepts. It also includes basic salon services and provides experience in a simulated salon setting. Topics include but are not limited to sanitation, shampooing, haircutting and design, hair coloring, manicures, facials, lash and brow tinting, and salon management. This course provides the appropriate training and required number of contact hours needed to fulfill licensure requirements in accordance with the N.C. State Board of Cosmetic Art Examiners. Uniforms are required. The registration fee includes all supplies and textbooks. The $3,300 is paid in three parts, with $1,215 collected for the summer semester. Total completion hours are 1,500. 440 hours for summer semester.
