Spring 2007 Workshop Schedule
All weekday (Monday and Thursday) workshops will be held in the Tech Center, room 903, with the exception of the Transportation Triage Workshop on Feb. 15 which will be held in room 983. All Saturday workshops will be held in the Phillips Building, room 309.

Does Your Career Choice Fit You?  Develop a plan of action for choosing the best career path for yourself!
Electronic Communication on Campus Learn rules for communicating clear and professional online messages.
Financial Aid Fundamentals  Learn how to manage financial awards and avoid pitfalls.
Financial Management: Debt Control  Determine ways to increase your income, decrease your expenses, and discuss the options for affording college.
Health and Wellness Discover ways to maintain positive health and wellness while juggling the demands of school, work and home.
Getting the Job You Want  Getting the best job takes skills. Load up on tips for an effective resume, cover letter, and interview.
Interviewing Skills   Get tips on what to wear, how to prepare for the interview, and position yourself as the best candidate!
Learning Styles  Discover your personal learning style and how best to use it.
Memory: More Than Rehearsal  Learn strategies to improve your memory.
Note Taking: An Active Approach  Learn how use a note-taking system to organize and review important information. Become an "active" notetaker.
Research Papers: MLA Documentation Learn the do’s and don’ts of research writing.
Test Anxiety: Preparation is Key  Acquire skills to help you prepare for a test and manage test anxiety. Practice relaxation exercise.
