Requirements for 44-Hour Core

For students successfully completing the 44-hour core, following their acceptance at one of North Carolina's 16 public universities, the 44 hours will transfer as a block and will satisfy the institution-wide, lower-division general education requirements of that university. To graduate the student must successfully complete all the required courses, the required credit hours for electives, and have at least a 2.0 overall grade point average.
