UT Clubs and Organizations
A rich life outside the classroom is an important part of the college experience. We at Durham Tech strive to provide experiences outside the classroom to give you opportunities to develop leadership skills and learn more about yourself. Listed below are the clubs, societies, and honors available to the students who seek more from their college experience.

Student Faculty and Achievements
Durham Tech students and faculty are constantly making their marks -- on campus, in their fields of study, and in the community.

Durham Tech's own Chuck Wessell has been named to the prestigious position of Student Math League Contest Coordinator for the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges. Chuck will be working with two-year colleges across the country in the administration and scoring of the Student Math League contest. Chuck has been a full-time mathematics instructor at Durham Tech since 2000, and during that time he has made great progress in enhancing Durham Tech's statewide and national performance in mathematics competitions. Chuck has also appeared on Jeopardy! and was named by the governor of North Carolina to the Order of the Long Leaf Pine for leading NC State University to the 1988 College Bowl National Championship.
