“Getting an education was important to me. I wanted to have more opportunities." Landis attributes his success at Durham Tech to the faculty and staff and to his determination:  “You have to really want to succeed and stay focused. Then things will happen,” he said. “At Durham Tech, if you get discouraged, there's always someone to talk to." Landis graduated from Durham Tech this spring and plans to attend North Carolina Central University.
