Durham Tech's Northern Durham Center (NDC) is a full-service college campus that makes education even more convenient to residents of northern Durham and Orange counties. With state-of-the-art labs, a library, and comfortable classrooms, the NDC is like having a college right in your backyard. Continuing Education (noncredit) courses include Biotechnology, Construction, Esthetician Technology, Fire Service Extension, Emergency Medical Services, Law Enforcement Extension, and Workforce Transition. The Curriculum (credit) program course offerings include Basic Law Enforcement Training, Criminal Justice Technology, Fire Protection Technology, and Physical Education. From Raleigh or Cary: • Take I-40 West and merge onto the Durham Freeway (147 North) at exit 279B towards downtown Durham. • Take the Roxboro Street exit from the Durham Freeway (147 North). • Travel North on Roxboro Street (there is a well marked detour on Roxboro Street near I-85 - just keep following the signs) approximately 3.3 miles to Old Oxford highway and make a right turn. • Drive on Old Oxford Highway for about 3.2 miles. • Make a left turn onto Snow Hill Road just beyond the bridge over the Eno River at the Durham Tech Center sign. • The Northern Durham Center is located approximately 1.6 miles down Snow Hill Road on the right.
