Adult Secondary Education programs provide students without a high school diploma an opportunity to earn a high school credential. Students successfully completing the Adult High School Diploma (AHSD) program or General Educational Development (GED) program may participate in Durham Tech’s annual commencement exercises held each May. Courses are tuition-free, but students are required to buy their own books.

Schedule Registration for AHSD courses is held in the Nathaniel B. White Building. Check at the front desk for the registration location. Late entry into traditional courses is not permitted. Students must be admitted within the first two days of the course in order to earn course credit.
