  • One on one private business counseling: We offer a free, confidential service for ideas or concerns you may have about your business.
  • Referrals for specialized resources: We are able to refer you to a specialist for your needs when starting your own business, such as licenses, employee benefits, loans, taxes, etc.
  • Monthly seminars - "Thinking of Starting a Business": This gives you the most important steps to take when beginning your own business. For more information go to the seminars page.
  • Access to current business and market periodicals: We provide graphs, charts, and statistics for Durham County on growth and economy. QuickBooks accounting software helps you manage your finances and run your business by the numbers.
