SEF-RECO2 Introduction to Audio Mixing

Students will learn to identify the application of special effects to an audio production. Students will receive hands-on experience in making parameter-setting adjustments on various effects units to achieve a desired result. In addition, a much greater knowledge of signal routing will be obtained. Understanding the use of effects units will prepare any audio professional with the experience needed to make the most critical decisions during the mixing process. Topics addressed in this course include: mix theory, organization blending, applying effects, and referencing. This course will serve as a prerequisite to advanced audio mixing. 30 hours. $500
