NUR-3240H Nurse Aide I - Short Course

This version of the Nurse Aide I course is designed for students who have a background in health care or have taken other college-level classes. Students complete the NC Nurse Aide I state curriculum lecture and lab content in a compacted timeframe. They should be task-oriented, self-motivated, and organized with excellent reading skills. Students in this course learn the basic nursing skills required to provide care in a variety of health care settings, and are prepared to pass the NC Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation. Clinicals will be held at healthcare facilities in Durham or Orange counties.
