PREREQUISITE: Must be comfortable creating and editing PowerPoint slides. Completion of Warpwire Basics is recommended, but not required.
Office 2019 for Windows (aka Office 365) has easy-to-use tools for narrating PowerPoint presentations and turning them into videos. You can include a small “picture-in-picture” video of yourself in the corner and draw on slides to emphasize points as you record. In this hands-on workshop, you will use these tools to narrate a PowerPoint and then export it as a video. And you’ll learn options for uploading your video to Warpwire you can share it with students (in Sakai) or with the public (depending on your intended audience).
