TLC: Screencasting with Warpwire

PREREQUISITE: Completion of Warpwire Basics workshop or experience using Sakai as an instructor

Would you like to create a tour of your Sakai site for students or make a video demonstrating how to complete an assignment?These are just a few uses for screencasting, which lets you record actions on your screen as you narrate with your voice. This hands-on workshop provides a brief review of Warpwire Basics, and then focuses on using Warpwire’s Screen Capture tool to create screencasts. You’ll see examples from other instructors and practice setting up and recording your own screencast. You’ll also learn how to trim your screencast, select a custom thumbnail image, and display your screencast to students (in Sakai).
