Out Loud in the Library: Episode 3
This week in Out Loud in the Library I spoke with Charmaine Grafton, President of the Student Government Association. For all those who have met her, you already know she is a delightful and authentic person. It was a pleasure to get to speak to her and learn about what the SGA is up to this year. They are adapting to the online environment admirably. But, I don't need to tell you that. You can listen for yourself!
Last Crafternoon of the Fall: Granular Wax Candle Making!
It's getting dark early and a candle sure does make the evenings more cozy, so why not make your own candle at our final Crafternoon of the Fall 2021 semester? Choose your favorite colors and layer your own personalize candle using granulated wax. Join us in the Orange County Campus lobby on Wednesday, November 17 from 11:00 to 1:00 or in the Main Campus Library large group study area (downstairs) on Thursday, November 18 from 1:00 to 3:00. All supplies are provided. Students, faculty, and staff
Testing, testing!
It’s close to time for exams, but the library has another kind of testing already going on. We’re trying out new chat software that lets us IM with students, faculty, or anyone else who needs assistance. To start talking with us, go to the library homepage and click on the chat icon in the middle of the page, near the bottom. If we're available to chat, the icon looks like: If we're not available, a different icon indicates that we're away. Chat with us, and let us know what you think! We hope
New Books for October
It's finally starting to feel like Fall! Time to curl up with a good book, wear some fuzzy socks, and sip hot tea. Dog may be substituted by a cat or a pumpkin.

Post-Halloween New Books
These books may not have any sugar in them, but they are still pretty sweet. Read one while you're waiting for that sugar-induced haze to pass. [gallery link="none" type="slideshow" ids="3674,3675,3676,3677,3678,3679,3680,3681,3682,3683,3684" orderby="rand"]
