Durham Tech's Arts, Sciences, and University Transfer (ASUT) program allows a student to complete up to two years of course work for a baccalaureate degree. The wide variety of freshman-level and sophomore-level courses satisfies general education requirements at senior institutions across the United States. Completion of the Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degrees enables an eligible student to transfer as a junior to University of North Carolina System institutions after acceptance at the four-year university.
