Documentary Screening: The Chance to Live

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Grace Beeler, an ESL instructor at Durham Tech, is working with a group of local filmmakers to make a series of short films on refugees in the Triangle area. The documentary The Chance to Live highlights the experience of a Colombian refugee family who fled violence and relocated to the Triangle. The presentation will include discussion of the project and Q&A. This event is open to the public.
