College is expensive. We're here to help. At Durham Tech, we offer several options for students who need to pay for tuition, fees, books, and the pop-up expenses that are important, too.
Durham Tech Promise
Durham Tech Promise provides recent high school graduates in Durham and Orange counties up to $1,000 each year for two years. That means less focus on cost – and more on success.
All students are encouraged to start by applying for Financial Aid. Be sure to review the information about financial aid advisors, types of aid, refunds, eligible programs, and how to apply. View the Financial Aid Chart that explains all types of financial aid available.
Aside from financial aid and loans, there are a number of scholarship resources. Some scholarships are provided by Durham Tech. Be sure to read more about our Durham and Orange ConnectFunds Scholarships. There are also scholarships provided by community organizations as well as scholarships for students of all immigration backgrounds.
Next NC Scholarship
The Next NC Scholarship is a financial aid program that helps most North Carolinians from households making $80,000 or less pursue higher education by fully covering tuition and fees at any community college or more than half, if not all, of tuition and fees to attend any public university in the state.
Loans and Payment Plan
Work-Study opportunities are available on campus for eligible students who want to gain work experience and earn money.
