College is expensive. We're here to help. At Durham Tech, we offer several options for students who need to pay for tuition, fees, books, and the pop-up expenses that are important, too.
Durham Tech Promise
Durham Tech Promise provides recent high school graduates in Durham and Orange counties up to $1,000 each year for two years. That means less focus on cost – and more on success.
Financial Aid
All students are encouraged to start by applying for Financial Aid. Be sure to review the information about financial aid advisors, types of aid, refunds, eligible programs, and how to apply. View the Financial Aid Chart that explains all types of financial aid available.
Loans and Payment Plan
Learn the steps to to geting a loan. Durham Tech has teamed up with Nelnet to provide a tuition payment plan that breaks down tuition balance into affordable monthly payments.
Scholarships
Aside from financial aid and loans, there are a number of scholarship resources. Some scholarships are provided by Durham Tech. There are also scholarships provided by community organizations as well as scholarships for students of all immigration backgrounds.
Work-Study Opportunities
Work-Study opportunities are available on campus for eligible students who want to gain work experience and earn money.
