This summer, Dr. J. Luke Wood and Dr. Donna Y. Ford led a webinar series to discuss the challenges Black students face in K – 16 education. Black students comprise 34% of Durham Tech’s student body; thus, understanding the experiences of Black students in education is critical to being an effective instructor at Durham Tech. Join us for a review of Dr. Wood and Dr. Ford’s important work in this recap. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
