PREREQUISITE: Completion of Intro to Sakai workshop or experience using Sakai as an instructor

Warpwire is a multimedia tool that allows instructors to record, upload, and share video and audio content from within Sakai. Warpwire makes it easy to record a video or an audio podcast to share with students, lending a “human presence” to your Sakai site. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to activate Warpwire in your courses on Sakai, and you’ll practice creating a “selfie” video with a webcam, recording an audio podcast, and uploading videos from a mobile device. You will learn tips for managing the content you create, using video and audio across multiple courses, and viewing analytics to see if students are watching.

Note: This workshop does not cover all of Warpwire’s features but is the perfect precursor to our other workshops on screencasting and narrating PowerPoints.
