Turn it Pink Thursday

Join the SGA and Student Life in the lobby of the Wynn Center as we recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In order to turn October 31st pink, we are encouraging all students, faculty, and staff to wear pink in honor of those who have battled breast cancer. We will have pink ribbons for students, faculty, and staff to write the names of friends and loved ones who are breast cancer survivors or who may have lost their life to breast cancer. We will also have an information table about breast cancer.

According to the American Cancer Society, “Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed among US women and is the second leading cause of death among women after lung cancer.” So we hope you will join us on Thursday, October 31st and help us Turn it Pink!
