President Buxton’s statement on newly sworn-in elected Orange County mayors

“I want to congratulate the new and returning mayors in Orange County. Durham Tech looks forward to working with new Carrboro Mayor Damon Seils and continuing our work with Chapel Hill Mayor Pam Hemminger and Hillsborough Mayor Jenn Weaver. We are thankful for their individual commitment to their towns. Durham Tech is proud to be Orange County’s community college and we look forward to partnering with these leaders to improve education and create pathways to great careers and social and economic mobility for their residents.”
