Statement from President J.B. Buxton on the passing of Nathaniel White, Jr.

“We were saddened to see the passing of Nathaniel White, Jr, who played a pivotal role in integrating Duke University and led a life of significant personal and professional impact. Nat White was the son of one of our founding trustees, Nathaniel White, Sr, himself a trailblazing leader in Durham. Durham Tech is proud of our association with the White family and the contributions they made to create a better Durham and a better America. The thoughts and prayers of the Durham Tech community are with the White family.”
