Every summer, AudioFile's Sync summer "reading" program provides free weekly downloads of two audiobooks: one contemporary YA book and one work of classic literature that relates to the same theme. Need to use the Durham Tech Libraries next week? Well, our hours will temporarily change. The College will be closed Wednesday, November 24 through Sunday, November 28. No classes or events will be held. The Main Campus Library will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Monday and Tuesday, November 22 and 23. The Northern Durham Center Library will be closed. Click read more to check out some awesome reads by and about Asian and Pacific Islander Americans from our in-person collection and from our Dogwood Digital Collection of ebooks and audiobooks. Nonfiction and poetry on display at the Main Campus-- Other books by AAPI authors in our collections-- Dogwood Digital books can be downloaded and read through the Libby app, just like your local public library (though our holds list is likely much shorter).

The Durham Tech Library is here to support your reading goals with the Above Average Reading Challenge: 20 Books in 2020. How to I participate? To participate, you just start reading! You don’t have to sign up and you can start and finish at any point in 2020. Twenty books is roughly one book every two weeks if you want to space this out
