Thanks to a grant that earmarked $3000 for library resources, the Durham Tech library expanded its collections of Middle East-related materials. The grant was funded by the Duke-UNC Consortium for Middle East Studie s. Made possible by Consortium’s Title VI funding, the grant, locally administered by Shannon Hahn, allowed the library to add over 100 new titles to its collections. The library has just added Pronunciator to its lineup of online resources. Pronunciator is a language learning website, which runs on just about any computer or device. On a computer you’ll need a browser with a recent version of Java and Flash, speakers and a microphone. Simply go to the library homepage and choose " Articles and Electronic Resources."
