It's Election Day!
Happy Election Day, y'all! It may not be a presidential election year, but municipal elections matter, too! In order to vote today, you'll need to go to your assigned polling place and can vote until 7:30 p.m.-- if you're in line at 7:30 p.m., no matter how long the line may be, you can cast your ballot. Crafternoon: Pop-Up Valentine's Day Cards

Fall Semester is Coming!
Fall classes start on Monday, August 16, which means next week is Fall Semester Preparation Week! The Library (and the College with the exception of the Bookstore) will be closed to students on Monday, August 9 for professional development. Don't Catch the Flu: Get Vaccinated!
Every year, millions of people in the United States contract influenza ("the flu"). Hundreds of thousands of people are hospitalized for the flu each year and thousands die from it. You can help prevent the spread of this virus--and protect yourself from it--by getting a flu vaccine every year. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) say that all people aged six months and older need to get the vaccine. Read a Pie, Bake a Pie, Eat a Pie
There should be another word for cookbooks that are only recipes for baked desserts. Bakebooks? Dessertbooks? Bakertbooks? We can workshop it later.
