There are lots of movies coming out this fall based on books. Several book adaptations have been released as films earlier this year as well. Check out these books from the library to read before or after watching the movie version! Maurice Sendak, author and illustrator, died on May 8, 2012, in Danbury, CT, at the age of 83. Toshi's daughter created the art work for each of her book covers. Toshi has worked at Durham Tech for about thirteen years. Before Durham Tech, she was a librarian at Duke University. Today is Constitution Day and to celebrate we wanted to highlight a couple of videos about the US Constitution from our Films on Demand database. Films on Demand has streaming video that is free to watch and easily embedded into Sakai. This first video is The Almost Painless Guide to the US Constitution and is a short summary of how the Constitution was created with fun narration and a quick quiz at the end. (If you're off campus you will need to log in with your Durham Tech username and
