Madelyn Spencer, a former Durham Tech dual enrollment student and current Novo Nordisk employee, received her high school diploma while she earned her associate's degree in engineering during the summer of 2024 by going through the college’s Career and College Promise program. John Burness, Chair of the Durham Technical Community College Board of Trustees, died on Monday, December 19, at the age of 77.
