Durham Tech’s Main Campus houses several departments, including administrative offices such as the President’s Office, the Durham Tech Foundation, Human Resources, Campus Police and Public Safety, and Information Technology Services. The largest part of Durham Tech, the 79-acre property also features programs such as Accounting, Automotive Systems Technology, Health Technologies, Opticianry, Translation/Interpretation, and Work-Study. The Library, Mail Services, and Admissions and Advising Services are among the other facilities found here.
Durham Tech's Northern Durham Center is a full-service college campus that makes education even more convenient to residents of northern Durham and Orange Counties. With state-of-the-art labs, a library, and comfortable classrooms, the center is like having a college right in your backyard. Both Continuing Education and Curriculum courses are offered here.
The Small Business and Corporate Education Center is home to two Durham Tech departments. The Small Business Center at Durham Tech provides business owners with the information they need for success, including but not limited to advice on marketing, sales, bookkeeping, and financial management. The Corporate Education department offers continuing education and training to meet the needs of area businesses, industries, and other organizations.
A newer addition to the Durham County campuses, Duke Street North began offering classes in February 2018. Dialysis Tech, Central Sterile Processing, EKG, and Phlebotomy are among some of the programs and courses that are available at this location.
Durham Tech at Research Triangle Park is one of the college’s newer campuses and offered its first set of classes in Spring 2018. Digital photography courses and entrepreneur classes are just a few examples of the classes that have been taught here.
The Orange County Campus at Durham Tech is a 20-acre campus centrally located in Orange County. This campus was created to better serve Orange County residents as they pursue their education, workforce training, and lifelong learning. The 40,000-square-foot brick structure, located in the Waterstone Development outside of Hillsborough, holds 22 instructional spaces including classrooms, computer and science labs, a library, flexible use space, instructional and student support services areas, and faculty and student lounges.
The Orange County Skills Development / JobLink Center and the NCWorks Career Center of Orange County were created to help community members and employers make informed choices pertaining to their careers and workforce needs. This user-friendly facility provides a comprehensive range of employment and training services and houses five instructional spaces including classrooms, a computer lab, a student lounge, and a Nursing Assistant Lab.
