All over the world, people of different walks of life enjoy music and dances rooted from the African-American culture. These include swing, jazz, voguing, and hip hop. Join us as Dr. Thomas DeFrantz of Duke University discusses the global impact and origins of black social dances in addition to leading a dance workshop.
