Participation Guidelines:

  • All works must be original works by the student(s) creating it.
  • Students enrolled at Durham Tech during Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 are eligible to submit entries. Collaborators may be other Durham Tech students or non-students.
  • Students are limited to one submission.
  • All works must be photographed (visual art) or their performance recorded through YouTube (written word and performing art) or emailed as a Word document (written word). It is the responsibility of the artist(s) to submit photos or YouTube videos that allow a clear viewing or representation of the work. Images or videos too dark, unviewable, or with poor sound will not be considered. Email submissions with a brief description of your work, including a title of the work, your name, phone number, and Durham Tech program of study to umbergerg@durhamtech.edu. If the work is a collaboration, include the names of all collaborators and indicate whether they are a Durham Tech student.

To ensure your eligibility, please make sure that you understand and attest to the following:

By entering this contest, I am affirming that all creators of this work are in agreement that

  3.  I am allowing my work to be shared by Durham Tech or its employees on various social media platforms, the Durham Tech website, in news articles, or via other outlets. I understand my work will be credited if so shared.
