Virtual Benefits Assistance: Food Stamps Screening & Application

A 15-minute phone call could save you money on food!

Recent COVID relief means that more college students are currently eligible for Food Stamps. Sign up for a 15-minute phone call to see if you qualify and apply over the phone! Durham Tech is partnering with Benefits Outreach Counselors at the Food Bank to assist students in figuring out if you are eligible and getting your applications in quickly by phone if so.

Not sure if you qualify for Food Stamps? Previously denied? No problem! Benefits counselors will talk with you about eligibility (e.g. income, immigration status, student status) and support you in applying if eligible.
 

After filling out the referral form, you will receive a phone call from a Benefits Outreach Coordinator with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
