Durham Tech Clery Maps 

Below are the text descriptions for Durham Tech Clery maps.The images of the Clery maps are contained in the Guide to Campus Safety report.

Clery Act reporting is based on where the incident occurred. To help distinguish which properties are reportable for the Durham Tech campuses, the Clery map color codes properties based on the reportable location definitions classified by the U.S. Department of Education. The Durham Tech Clery Map defines Clery geography for the main campus, Northern Durham Center, and the Orange County Campus. The Department of Education mandates these specific properties as Clery geography. The following highlighted areas distinguish our Clery geography for reporting and notifications.

On Campus: These properties highlighted in red represent Durham Tech owned or controlled campus buildings. These buildings are numbered and named in the key at the bottom of the map.

Main Campus: Building 1: Nathaniel B. White Building, Building 2: Harold K. Collins Building, Building 3: Edward L. Phillips Building, Building, 4: George W. Newton Industrial & Engineering Technologies Center, Building 5: Educational Resources Center, Building 6: Corporate and Continuing Education Center, Building 7: Facility Services Building (this is designated as a non-campus building), Building 8 (Campus Police and Public Safety), Building 9: GlaxoSmithKline Technology Center, Building 10: Phail Wynn, Jr. Student Services Center, Building 11: William G. Ingram Center for Applied Learning and Technology, and Building 20: 807 Bacon Street. There is only one building (marked with a number one) for Orange County Campus and Northern Durham Center.

College parking lots are highlighted in gray and marked with a letter (A through N) on Main Campus. College sidewalks and driveways are also noted on the map.

The campus property line is depicted using a blue line surrounding the buildings.

Public Property: Properties that are public or city owned property immediately adjacent to or run through (touch) Durham Tech owned or controlled property. Areas outside the property line are categorized as Clery defined public property.

Northern Durham Center Campus: Academic Building 1 is highlighted in red and represents Durham Tech owned or controlled campus building. A blue line shows the property line surrounding the building and the parking lot.

Orange County Campus: Academic Building 1 is highlighted in red and represents Durham Tech owned or controlled campus building.

Duke Street North: Academic  Building 1 is highlighted in red and represents Durham Tech owned or controlled campus building.

The Chesterfield: Academic  Building 1 is highlighted in red and represents Durham Tech owned or controlled campus building.
