Or little fantasy or science fiction, perhaps? We've got you. Not able to come visit us at the Orange County Campus library but want to read one of these [awesome] books? Ask a librarian for help putting a hold on a book to pick up at your primary campus.
We now have two great online guides for finding movies in the library's collection. One guide is for browsing titles by movie genre such as Action, History, Sports, etc... and the other is an alphabetical listing of films in our collection. We hope you'll discover lots of films that you want to watch. Thanks to our library staff member, Lauren Havens, for all of her hard work creating these new resources. You can also access these guides under the LibGuides link on the library website.
You've certainly been to the library in the ERC to check out some of our 40,000-plus books, but be sure to check out the e-book offerings from NC LIVE as well! In the 1960's and 1970's, many soul, funk, and R&B performers lived and worked in Durham, NC. More than 40 groups recorded singles and full-length albums in this time period. Ten recording labels were based in Durham during those decades. Durham Tech has a lot of partners that help provide a wide range of services and access to information. One of those partners is UNC Chapel Hill’s North Carolina Digital Heritage Center ( http://www.digitalnc.org).
