Exercise and Sports Science
Students who wish to pursue a bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science should complete the Associate in Arts (AA) degree which will transfer to all UNC System schools, most North Carolina independent colleges and universities, and most out of state institutions.
Education (Continuing Education)
These Continuing Education courses will provide students with the basic principle and practices of effective teaching.
Welder/Cutter
Welders and cutters are experts in aligning and then welding metal pieces with flame-cutting and other tools

Durham Tech provides accessibility services designed to create equal access to the many aspects of education. Students have the opportunity to voluntarily self-identify with the College as having a disability or medical condition that may impact access to programs and activities.

These Continuing Education courses introduce students to software and web development concepts and prepares students for entry-level Microsoft certification.
News: Pulitzer winner who attended Durham Tech will be 2023 Commencement speaker
Pulitzer Prize winner and former Durham Technical Community College student Elizabeth Fenn will be the college’s 2023 Spring Commencement keynote speaker.

Dr. Fenn won the Pulitzer in the history category in 2015 for her book “Encounters at the Heart of the World: A History of the Mandan People,” which explores the role of the Native American tribe over the course of centuries

Durham Technical Community College Executive Director for the Center for Global Learning Center, Dr. Constanza Gómez-Joines has been appointed to serve on the Durham County Hospital Corporation Board of Trustees.
