What We're Reading-Ghost Talkers
This book was read by Courtney Bippley-Reference Librarian at the Main Campus Library Why did you choose to read this book? The premise of this book was intriguing to me. Using mediums to get intelligence from ghosts of soldiers seems like a logical tactic if ghosts were a real and reliable phenomenon. What did you like about it? I like that the book didn’t shy away from the culture of the time in regard to racism and sexism. The author worked these issues into the plot, characters, and setting

North Carolina Literary Map
The library discovered a neat new tool called the North Carolina Literary Map, which is a free resource produced by the University Libraries at UNC Greensboro in collaboration with the North Carolina Center for the Book. The NC Literary Map identifies North Carolina places associated with more than 3000 writers and more than 4700 of their books with an interactive online tool that is designed to foster interest in the state’s rich literary tradition.
